Josef Albers FORMULATION ARTICULATION 97 06 16 - 09 06

This exhibition presents the complete 127- leaf silkscreen portfolio, Formulation Articulation by Joseph Albers(1888-1976). The matured artist put his unique chromovisual theory, developed throughout his Bauhaus period, into practice in these prints. Hisaesthetics will be analyzed from all angles and well explicated in the exhibition. Special event: Lecture by Professor Koji Kusabuka, Graphic Design Course, TAU. Time and Date to be announced.

World of Soukichi Suga 97 09 16 - 12 13

Soukichi Suga (1905-1982) is an esteemed Japanese artist who had long presented his awareness as a Japanese into painted works and objects. This exhibition will trace the transition of this 'awareness' seen in his artistic expressions with his approximately seventy works of oil paintings and drawings and fifty 3-dimensional objects. The exhibits will be changed during the exhibition period.
