19:00 - 21:00 |

on internet and the ecology of relations- |
opening in the garden of KAMINOGE (to find out how to get to the KAMINOGE campus of TAMA ART UNIVERSITY, check the access map.)
in case of rain we will hold the party anyway, in the studio of the faculty of theater and film, building 3.
for onLine visitors, please check
the page for putting yourself in the garden of KAMINOGE or have a look at the
live screen captures from the opening event. |
fumikazu masuda, product designer, will give a presentation on
<internet as a space for the creation of dynamic relations>,
introducing the <
GreenMap> project |
kei'ichi irie, architect, will show a video on his experiments to transform real world relations of real world environments into architecture of <informationScapes>. |
david blair, media artist, will navigate around a new project, an HTML/ VRML environment of relational narratives. |
haruhisa ishida, computer scientist and professor at the
MEDIA CENTER of TAU, will give his account on the relations between communication engineering and communication design in environments of distributed knowledge management.
we hope that presentations, comments etc will then shift to the audience- yuichi inomata, professor of the
DIGITAL GRAPHICS course at the
DESIGN faculty of the KAMINOGE campus will orchestrate presentations and discussion.
in parallel, visitors are encouraged to produce
their WWW pages, commenting on the issues discussed or just showing impressions of the opening party-
in another set- up, onSite and onLine visitors
may put themselves somewhere in a web- representation of the KAMINOGE garden, together with short messages. a map will be continuously updated and a 3D-
VRML model will allow visitors to navigate through the changing space of registered guests-
besides- bread, some cheese, water and wine will hopefully satisfy some more direct desires... |
